Flower festivals in Everland

Spring season has already started in South Korea. As the ice traces of the last winter season melt, flower buds slowly welcome the breeze of a new life. Soon, spring festivals will be held in different parts of the country.

One of the most popular destination to visit in South Korea to enjoy flower festivals is its largest amusement park – Everland. It is a theme park in Yeongin City, Gyeonggi-do operated by Samsung Everland, a subsidiary of the Samsung Group.

Throughout the year, several festivals are held in the park. To celebrate the spring season, they have the Tulip Festival held from mid-March to early May. It is then followed by the Rose Festival which lasts until mid-June. During these festivals, the theme park’s Four Seasons Garden and Rose Garden are covered with thousands of flowers all in full bloom.
